Poems, short stories and essays are normally used as text to teach reading comprehension and literature. The three genres are also used as examples to teach university and school students to write in ESL. The poems, short stories and essays in this book are suitable for these purposes. The stories written in this book have local places in MalaysiaNas their background setting. This will encourage university and school students to write in ESL by using their own background.
